Praise to the Man 3rd Verse
Okay so literally I was not prepared to teach senior primary today and I had no idea what I was going to do then an awesome thought came. . .hmmm how about let them teach it! So after making sure they knew the 1st verse and chorus really well I handed out my laminated hymn copies and divided them into groups of 3-5 and and assigned them a phrase of the third verse. I gave them 5 minutes to come up with actions that would help teach everyone their phrase. One by one we had the groups come up and teach us their phrase and actions. . .it was awesome!! They were so creative and so full of excitement for this project. Give it a try and see what they come up with. . .here's what mine did.

Love the actions, thanks for listing them in detail. What actions did you do for the 1st verse?
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing your ideas! They've been a big help. :)
ReplyDeleteDid you use this same activity to teach the 3rd verse to jr. pimary? I would love to hear what worked for you.
We didn't do any actions for the first verse, i just used the picture flipchart and I also did not teach the Jr. Primary the 3rd verse yet. . .I'm just waiting to see how the rest of the year goes, it may be just the Sr. that will sing that verse, who knows!
